Our Story
We're two sisters from a small town in Amman, Jordan, who always dreamed of creating a space where everyone felt welcome no matter who they were or where they came from. We’ve called Williston, North Dakota, home for the past 11 years. When we arrived, we didn’t have much just determination, a dream, and a whole lot of heart.
The journey hasn’t been easy. Learning a new language, adjusting to a different culture, and building a life from the ground up came with its challenges. There were days we felt out of place and unsure, but we never gave up. We kept learning, working hard, and growing because we believed in something bigger than ourselves.
That belief turned into The Fleur a café built on connection, comfort, and community. We wanted to create a space where people could slow down, share a good conversation, and feel at home, no matter where they came from.
The name The Fleur means “flower” in French. To us, it stands for resilience and growth something beautiful that can bloom even in unfamiliar soil.
